Research Assistant for Carnegie Mellon University and Meta Partnership

My initial fellowship with AI-SDM transitioned into a collaboration on a research project through Carnegie Mellon University’s AI-SDM and Meta’s AI for Good program, where the goal is to create AI and data product prototypes using Meta’s restricted-access mobility/network datasets and open source AI models (specifically computer vision models SAM and/or DINO) and to develop a visualization and analysis framework with possible utility for on-the-ground emergency managers and responders.
