About Me
I am an incoming PhD student in Demography at UC Berkeley. I just completed my Master’s in Applied Data Science at Carnegie Mellon University, and I previously received my Bachelor’s in Statistics (with minors in Demography and English) from UC Berkeley. I am drawn to interdisciplinary environments, and I have worked in various fields, including academic research, R software development, data science and AI, population analysis, education, and nonprofits.

- I am the co-founder of NemoGB, an open-source R package for course grade calculations that led to my first publication.
- I previously interned as a Development Research Intern in the major gifts department at KQED.
Academic & Professional Background
My research roles have emphasized the benefits of utilizing technology to improve the student experience, and my teaching roles have taught me the importance of students who can communicate data-driven decisions. All of my past internships have focused on analyzing various populations: international social media creators, therapy attendance of foster youth, the formerly incarcerated in New York City, and monetary donors for a public media station.
